PUG Rules

1
Commit to the Game

Only queue for a PUG if you can play the entire match. Leaving early disrupts the game for everyone and may result in a timeout.

This also applies to the draft phase. Do not queue if you will be AFK, as you may be selected as Captain and are expected to make your picks promptly.

2
Communication

Communication is essential for effective teamwork.

All players are required to join their team's voice channel and remain undeafened for the duration of the PUG. A microphone is not required, but you must be able to hear your teammates. Failing to join or remain in voice chat may result in a PUG timeout.

Voice chat should be used for team communication. Soundboards, singing, excessive background noise, or other disruptive audio are not allowed if teammates ask you to stop. Continued disruption may result in you being muted, and repeated or intentional offences should be reported with evidence (such as recordings) and may lead to PUG timeouts.

3
Experience Requirement

PUGs are intended to be a competitive environment.

Players are expected to understand the server rules and are expected to have over 300 hours in Puck.

4
Fair Play

Griefing, cheating, exploiting bugs, or intentionally ruining games is strictly prohibited.

Play fairly at all times. Any attempt to abuse game mechanics or gain an unfair advantage may result in disciplinary action.

5
Timeouts

Timeouts issued for leaving PUGs early will generally not be removed.

Make sure you have enough time to complete the entire game before joining the queue.

6
Goalkeeper Rule

If you are drafted as the goalkeeper, you must remain the goalkeeper for the entire game.

You may pull yourself for an extra skater, but no other player may take over as goalkeeper unless the original goalkeeper has left the match. This rule exists to preserve the integrity of the draft and ensure teams play with the roles they selected.
